1

Where the roles come from

We read each employer's own job board: 4,427 of them, covering 3,144 companies. Every role links to the posting on that board, never to a middleman.

Most boards run on a handful of hiring systems: Workday (1,458), Greenhouse (1,176), Ashby (621), Lever (350), Smartrecruiters (294), Icims (231), Oracle (158), Workable (65). Companies with their own careers site, such as Google, Meta, Apple, Microsoft and Amazon, each have a reader written for them.

Public lists that students already share are read too, as a safety net. A role that shows up there first is traced back to the employer's own posting, or dropped if we can't find it.

2

How often we check

Every 3 minutes: the top companies (big tech, quant firms, AI labs, well-funded startups) and every company a subscriber watches.

Every hour: all the other boards.

3

How fast that is, measured

For the top companies, the median time from a role being posted to us finding it is 3 minutes. For every other board it is 43 minutes.

How we measure it: over the last 14 days, for boards that publish an exact posting time, we take the gap between that time and the moment our check first saw the role, and report the middle value. Boards that give only a date are left out, because a date can't be timed to the minute.

That is posting to found. An instant alert is emailed on the same 3-minute check that finds the role.

4

What we filter out

Early career only: internships, co-ops, new grad roles, and entry-level or junior roles asking for 0 to 2 years. A posting that asks for 3 or more years is left out.

US roles, plus Canada if you add it in your settings, in one of seven fields: software, AI and ML, quant, hardware, product, design, security.

No repeats: the same posting under two links counts once, and a role reposted with the same title is not sent again.

Fresh only: an alert is for a role posted in the last 3 days. Older roles we come across late go on the list, not in your inbox.

Gone means gone: a role leaves the list after the employer takes it down.

5

What you get, and when

Free: one digest a day in one field, plus an instant alert when one of 3 companies you pick posts.

Season pass or monthly: instant alerts from the top companies and your whole watchlist, an email each hour for everything else, all seven fields, and city and keyword filters. See pricing.

The lists on this site and the assistant connector run a day behind the alerts.

What we don't do

We don't apply for you, hold your resume, or sell your address. Apply links open the employer's own page.
